The Triceps Roll is an exercise that is certainly worth learning how to do. Make sure you take off your diamond ring, or rotate it to the inside of your hand before doing this one.
You can develop good arm strength with this exercise and it teaches you to connect the arm strength to your body pretty effectively. Remember, most of the exercises I teach are about moving your body better as the primary focus and developing "good looking muscles" in the process. This is a somewhat different approach to many bodybuilding practices, which often do not focus on enhancing your body's movement.
Use your hips to regulate the difficulty or challenge of this exercise. Bending at the hips will take load off, while extending at the hips into a full plank will increase load.
