One of my biggest pet-peeves is seeing people press off the dome of the BOSU Ball with their wrists in a hyper extended position.  While it may be useful for some athletes to develop strength in this position, most people will be far better off preventing hyper extension in the wrists.

The solution is to always have your fingers point "down-hill" when you are pressing off the BOSU Dome.  Increasing the pressure in the tips of your fingers will also provide some stabilizing effect on the wrists so as to prevent damaging hyper extension.

So be a friend and position your hands properly on the BOSU Ball when you engage in a pressing movement.  Your wrists will thank you and so will I.
