There is an ancient Chinese saying that “your hands are smarter than your body”.  Think about how much more sense, control, and just plain old smarts are in your hands compared to the rest of your body.  Fact is your hands recruit a larger percentage of brain cells within the sensory/motor cortexes of both hemispheres of your brain than most other parts of your body.

BOSU - Both Sides Utilized - exercises with a rope and staff enable you to synchronize your hands by providing essential feedback or communication between them.

Your hands move through "Infinity" patterns (two infinities or figure eights - like the BOSU Logo) as you manipulate the rope/staff equally on both sides of your body.  This creates flow and promotes balance in your brain and in the rest of your body.
