What I love about the Bend & Reach is how I have to exercise control over my entire body to get it right! It's easiest to start by keeping the "free" leg touching the side of the BOSU ball to help maintain your balance. Once you feel "rehearsed", release the foot and feel how hard your standing leg has to work to stay up!
Here's a tip: engage (or brace) your abdominals as you bend and reach. Maintaining structure and support in the trunk will make it easier to control the rest of the movement. But most important, remember to keep the breath flowing smoothly, in and out!
It took me a while to get good at this move but because of the challenge, it has always been one of my favorites!
