My training philosophy is to train the foundational elements (symmetry of rotation, balance & timing, economy of movement, and energetic control) with very specific exercise techniques practiced consistently over time. At the same time, I also like to train with a lot of diversity to develop a wide range of strength and physical capabilities. This combination keeps me from getting bored and produces the best results for me.
Physically, my training goals are to move without chronic nagging pain (lower back pain was why I created the BOSU Balance Trainer in the first place), to be strong, athletic, and capable of using my body well in sports as well as self-defense, and to feel confident, healthy, and balanced.
The bottom line is the best exercise for you is the kind you'll actually do. I hope to open your eyes to new possibilities.
